Defending champions Brazil defeated El Salvador 3-1 in their opening group D match.

Brazil showcased their strength in the third period to secure a win over El Salvador in their opening match of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™.

Rodrigo opened the scoring after a clever setup by Thanger, but Heber Ramos quickly responded to level the match. Despite Brazil’s efforts, Jose Portillo made two impressive saves to keep the score tied at the end of the second period.

In the final period, Brazil stepped up. Thanger, making his tournament debut, scored a spectacular bicycle kick, and Lucao followed up to seal the victory for Marco Octavio’s side.
