Scrutiny of Bills Committee reviews key legislation in first trimester of 2005

 

During the first trimester of the National Assembly’s Calendar of Sittings for the year 2025, the Scrutiny of Bills Committee met with the sponsors of two important Bills.

The first was a Public Bill titled the Seychelles Made Bill, 2025, and the second was a Member’s Bill titled the Public Persons (Declaration of Assets, Liabilities, and Business Interests) (Amendment) Member’s Bill, 2025.

The Committee is led by chairperson Hon. Clifford Andre, who is supported by vice-chairperson Hon. John Hoareau, and other members are Hons. Gervais Henrie, Sathya Naidu, Churchill Gill, Johan Loze and Rocky Uranie. Assistance is provided by the Clerk of the National Assembly, Tania Isaac, committee secretary Brigitte Contoret, and assistant committee secretary, Lucy Michel.
