Foreign Affairs department celebrates Africa Day |24 May 2025

The Foreign Affairs department yesterday celebrated Africa Day. The Regional Affairs Division organised an exhibition, displaying artifacts, clothes, food and information from each of the five regions in Africa – East, West, North, Central, and South – and staff of the department dressed up in colourful African attire to mark the occasion.

Minister Sylvestre Radegonde, Principal Secretary Vivianne Fock Tave, and other members of staff participated in activities, such as a quiz on African geography, indication on the map of Africa the different countries that staff have visited, among others.

To note, Africa Day is officially celebrated on May 25.
