Taniah wins international song competition

Tania Jérémie, known by her stage name Taniah, is the winner of the Wave Dance International Song Competition organised by The Danny Faure Foundation, with her song titled ‘Where We Belong’.

This was revealed by the Head of the Jury for the Wave Dance International Song Competition, Patrick Victor, in a video posted on the foundation’s website. The global competition invited artists to compose a signature song for the Wave Dance initiative.

An esteemed international panel of judges, representing different regions of the world, was tasked with evaluating the entries and finalising their deliberations by May 30, 2025. The jury consisted of Gramps Morgan (Americas and the Caribbean), Salā Seutatia Solomona Aveau (Pacific), Eunice Tong (Asia), Natalie Nqobile Monin (Africa), Gérard Louis (Indian Ocean) and Simone Arafa (Europe).
