Praslin gets its first state-of-the-art Vehicle Testing Station

The island of Praslin now has its own state-of-the-art Vehicle Testing Station, which will not only test vehicles, but offer a wide range of other services.

The Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) on Ile Eve is located next to the site where the new Seychelles Public Transport Corporation’s (SPTC) bus depot will be constructed and opposite the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Praslin station. Vehicles on Praslin were tested manually at the SPTC depot located at Amitié.

It was President Wavel Ramkalawan and Transport Minister Antony Derjacques who officially opened the new facility yesterday morning in a ceremony attended by the Minister for Lands and Housing Billy Rangasamy, members of the National Assembly, key government officials, VTS staff among other invitees.
