‘Let the echoes of our past remind us of where we came from’

“On our auspicious 49th Independence anniversary. The Seychelles People National Movement wishes every Seychellois living in Seychelles and abroad a happy and blessed Independence Day.

“On this day we salute every Seychellois who is striving to build a better Seychelles, and we are grateful for all their contributions towards this beautiful nation.

“On June 29, 1976 our forefathers took a bold decision to decide its own fate and destiny. Such a decision every Seychellois should uphold and strive to maintain.

“Let the echoes of our past remind us of where we came from and to aspire to maintain a Seychelles with a high standard of living for every Seychellois. To build a Seychelles where the interest of Seychelles and all Seychellois remains the top priority. Such is the vision of the Seychelles People National Movement (SPNM).
