Motion questions Nisa’s lease agreement with US
The National Assembly yesterday approved a motion presented by Hon. Gervais Henrie, Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) member for Mont Buxton, calling on the board and management of the National Information Services Agency (Nisa) to end its business relationship with the United Seychelles (US) party, concerning the Bois de Rose property currently rented by Nisa.
The property, which houses Nisa’s print house, is being leased from the government by Sun Press Printing Ltd — a company that Hon. Henrie said is directly linked to the United Seychelles party, formerly known as Parti Lepep. He raised serious concerns about the ethical, legal, and financial implications of this arrangement.
