Namibia hosts high-level women’s parliamentary

roundtable to advance gender equality in politics

A roundtable aimed at strengthening the leadership and decision-making capacities of women parliamentarians in Namibia took place this week in the Namibian coastal town of Swakopmund.

The three-day event, themed ‘Women in Politics and Decision-Making Roles as Members of the National Assembly’, brought together female members of the National Assembly for peer learning, mentorship, and strategic planning on gender-responsive governance.
