Seychelles mourns Father Roger de Comarmond

Roman Catholic Diocese of Port Victoria has announced the passing of Father Roger de Comarmond on Saturday August 2, 2025 aged 84.

It was Bishop Alain Harel who shared the sad news in a social media post stating Father Roger passed away at 10.35pm, and invited everyone to pray for his soul.

According to family members, the retired priest died at his residence in Anse Aux Pins, where he has been living for the past one and a half years. He passed away peacefully in the presence of his loved ones.
