Venerable Danny Elizabeth is ordained fifth Bishop
It was in a joyful atmosphere that Venerable Danny, Rollan, Henry Elizabeth was officially welcomed as the fifth Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Seychelles in a consecrated mass service held yesterday at the St Paul’s Cathedral.
Bishop Elizabeth was ordained by the Most Reverend Dr Gilbert Rateloson Rakotondravelo, the Archbishop and Primate of the Province of the Indian Ocean, assisted by seven other bishops of the province coming from Mauritius and Madagascar.
The theme for the service was based on the word of Jesus (John 10:10b) - “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
