Smooth start as 2576 cast their votes at English River Special Station

The English River Special Polling station, which was expected to cater for 3474 voters, saw the participation of 2576 registered voters at the time of closing yesterday afternoon.

Three rooms had been set up to accommodate the voters; the main one being the staff room at the English River secondary school, the second room was the school’s library, and a third was at the La Rosière Creche.
