Tragic accident on highway claims three lives |04 October 2025

Two young men aged 25 and 22 and a teenage boy aged 16 died in an accident on the highway yesterday afternoon. The Mont Fleuri, Union Vale and Hermitage residents respectively, were involved in the accident that involved three vehicles.
According to the police, two other persons were badly injured and are admitted at the hospital; one of them, a 20-year-old, is in a critical state in the Intensive Care Unit.
The police said they received a call for assistance at 1.15pm. Initial report indicated that two of the vehicles involved were travelling towards the south, in the direction of the airport, while another vehicle was heading towards town.
