‘Love your eyes’

Today is World Sight Day, celebrated throughout the world to raise awareness on eye health and the prevention of avoidable blindness. Celebrated on the second Thursday of October each year, this day coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) was first marked in 2000.
