Dr Patrick Herminie secures support on Praslin and the inner islands

United Seychelles supporters rejoiced across Praslin and La Digue on Sunday, following the announcement of the presidential election results, which saw Dr Patrick Herminie secure a victory over incumbent president Wavel Ramkalawan.

The 2025 presidential election results released by the Electoral Commission Seychelles (ECS) show a decisive win for United Seychelles (US) across both Praslin constituencies — Baie Sainte Anne and Grand Anse Praslin — with Dr Herminie outperforming incumbent President Ramkalawan of Linyon Demokratik Seselwa in both districts.
