French ambassador Anne Tallineau calls on Speaker Ernesta

French ambassador to Seychelles, Anne Tallineau, yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Seychelles’ National Assembly, Azarel Ernesta, at the precinct of the assembly, Ile Du Port.

The Speaker was accompanied by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Tania Isaac. Discussions opened with an exchange on the importance of the French language and Francophone culture in Seychelles, with the Hon. Speaker calling for the revival of French language classes aimed at building the professional capacity of members of parliament and parliamentary staff.
