Seychellois athletes receive air tickets ahead of international competitions

A number of Seychellois athletes and officials were presented with their air tickets yesterday during a ceremony held at the Olympic House in Roche Caïman.

The tickets were handed over by the president of the Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (Socga), Alain Alcindor, as the athletes prepare to represent the country in a series of upcoming international sporting events.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation to the men’s national 3x3 basketball team, whose participation in the Fiba 3x3 Africa Cup 2025 is being supported through Socga’s team support grant. The beneficiaries included players Jean-Phillip Esparon, Anil Charlette, Khris Bouchereau, Timmy Adam (players), Guy Hall, Jefferson Nganga, and Michael Jean (accompanying officials).
