Russian designer Nina Dushko, the creative force behind the luxury fashion brand, Vestiaire, was one of the international guests at this year’s Seychelles Fashion Week.

Presenting a capsule of 13 looks, she brought her signature blend of couture craftsmanship and contemporary ready-to-wear to the islands – adapting her silhouettes, fabrics and colour palette to the tropics while keeping the meticulous detailing that defines her work.

It was her first time in Seychelles and her first Seychelles Fashion Week (SFW) outing, adding to past showings in Moscow and an international showcase in Tunis. Seychelles NATION caught up with her during her week-long stay to discuss her brand, her inspiration, and her views on the future of fashion.
