Court of Appeal closes December session with 14 judgments
The Seychelles’ highest court, the Court of Appeal has delivered its judgment in 14 appeal cases, in which three were overturned and eleven were confirmed.
The Court of Appeal delivered these judgments in its last hearing session for 2025 conducted yesterday at the Supreme Court. The 14 appeals included four criminal cases, a constitutional case, while the remaining nine appeals were civil cases. Among the three cases that were overturned was an appeal against a conviction and 28-year sentence for sexual assault.
