Jean Jahrimba returns to the spotlight with Misyonner

After years away from the forefront of the local music scene, one of Seychelles’ most recognisable reggae dancehall voices is ready to step back into the spotlight.

Jean Jahrimba, whose real name is Richard Marimba, a pioneer of the genre and a respected figure in local music, is preparing for a powerful return with his new album, Misyonner, set for release on January 30.

For fans who have followed his journey from the early days of Ragga Blastaz to his evolution as a solo artist, the album represents far more than new music.
