Discussions underway for new Seychelles Technical and Vocational Training Centre
The Seychelles government is currently in talks with a foreign partner to establish a Seychelles Technical and Vocational Training Centre as part of ongoing education reforms.
The announcement was made yesterday afternoon by Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, David Pierre, during a media interview at the ministry’s headquarters in Mont Fleuri.
The proposed Seychelles Technical and Vocational Training Centre (STVTC) will consolidate vocational students from various fields into one institution, replacing the current system where vocational studies are spread across several secondary schools. Details of the discussions will be shared in due course.
