Follow up meeting on the relocation of the Roche Caiman market |24 January 2026

The Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, Veronique Laporte, alongside the Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, David Pierre, chaired a follow up meeting on Thursday, in regard to the relocation of the Roche Caiman Market.

In a communique released yesterday, the ministry said that all stakeholders are on track with this development, and a last meeting will take place next Thursday to review the final plans.

Also present in the meeting was member of the National Assembly for the Roche Caiman district, Honourable Audrey Vidot, district administrator Christophe Madeleine, and all government stakeholders linked to this project.
