A delegation led by the Seychelles’ Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, Veronique Laporte, met the Mauritian Minister for Land Transport, Mahomed Osman Cassam Mahomed, yesterday at the seat of the ministry in Port-Louis.

The meeting aimed to provide the Seychelles delegation with insights into Mauritius’ progress in implementing its public transport electrification strategy and roadmap.

In a statement, Minister Mahomed underlined that Mauritius is making steady progress in the adoption of electric buses, marking a significant step towards a cleaner and more sustainable public transport system, despite the challenges encountered.
