Assembly leaders respond to State of the Nation Address 2026

The two leaders in the National Assembly yesterday gave their replies to the State of the Nation Address of President Patrick Herminie delivered on January 27.

The first to speak was the leader of the opposition, Hon. Bernard Georges, who said it was his 20th time replying to the State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered by five presidents across these two decades.

Hon. Georges said after the first 100 days of the United Seychelles administration, he does not see a nation enjoying a better life.
