143.7kgs of waste collected on Île Longue |21 February 2026
On Saturday, February 14, volunteers gathered on the shores of Île Longue to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a truly meaningful way, by showing their love for the ocean.
The clean-up effort resulted in an impressive 143.7 kilogrammes of waste being intercepted, including 72 kilogrammes of plastic.
