Soroptimist club hosts luncheon for residents of St Elizabeth Convent

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Soroptimist International Club of Victoria hosted its annual luncheon with the residents of the Convent of Maurice Roh at St Elizabeth Convent on Saturday afternoon.

The two-hour gathering brought together club members and residents for an afternoon of fellowship, appreciation, and companionship. The meal and gifts were generously sponsored by various partners.

Speaking to the press, club president Dr Vanessa Lesperance emphasised the importance of spending time with senior citizens, engaging with them, and learning from their wealth of knowledge and experience.
