Cybersecurity dialogue highlights children’s vulnerability online

The Seychelles Interfaith Council has sounded the alarm on the growing threat of cybercrime involving children, hosting an interactive dialogue yesterday with representatives from child protection agencies to raise awareness and strengthen responses.
Held at the National Council for Children (NCC) headquarters in Bel Eau, the session was led by cybersecurity specialists Christopher Anthony and Paul Savy. Discussions covered prevalent risks facing children and adolescents online, the urgent need for coordinated multi-agency responses, and public awareness initiatives directed at parents, guardians, legislators, and young people.
