In moments of uncertainty, when fear quietly settles into daily life and distance from home begins to feel heavier than usual, it is not place that defines us – but people. For the Seychellois diaspora in the UAE, that truth has never felt more real.

At the heart of this togetherness is a founding committee – not merely formed to organise, but one that has become a pillar of strength for Seychellois across the UAE. Established under the auspices of the Seychelles embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the committee has grown into a source of comfort, connection and reassurance at a time when many need it most.
