 Fabien Jeanne has been named most engaging youth for the year 2025 during the National Youth Awards 2025 ceremony, organised by the Seychelles National Youth Council. He received his recognition cup from President Patrick Herminie, during a ceremony held yesterday evening at the Eden Bleu hotel.

This award celebrates the achievements and innovations of young Seychellois from age 15 to 30, who have demonstrated dedication, leadership, innovation and a strong commitment to community and national development. In total 93 youths were awarded.

“I’m very emotional as I was not expecting to receive this award. However, I can see that the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) has seen value in my work at community level and international as well and I truly want to thank them for that,” Fabien expressed.

A member of the Regional Indian Ocean Assembly, the youngster has been engaged in volunteer work, and took part in youth-related conferences both locally and internationally.
