Chinese Vice President Han Zheng tours new SBC House

The Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China, Han Zheng, on Saturday, toured the new SBC House as part of activities marking the first day of his official visit to Seychelles, the final leg of his African tour.

Vice-President Zheng was welcomed by his counterpart Vice President Sebastien Pillay, accompanied by the chief executive of the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC), Berard Duprès, who guided him through several of the facility’s key areas. During the tour, Vice President Zheng was shown the modern studios, spaces, and technical broadcasting facilities that support the corporation’s radio, television and digital operations.
