English River health centre closes temporarily for second round of fumigation

The Ministry of Health has announced that the English River health centre will be temporarily closed as from 4pm on Thursday April 2, 2026 to Saturday April 4, 2026 to undertake mandatory second round of fumigation of the facility.

This measure is being undertaken to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff, said the ministry in a press release issued yesterday.

During this closure, members of the public are kindly advised to seek medical services at the Beau Vallon health centre and Les Mamelles health centre. Both health centres will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as from 8am to 8pm.

The English River health centre will resume its normal operations on Sunday April 5, 2026 from 8am until 10pm.

The Beau Vallon and Les Mamelles health centres will be closed on Sunday April 5, and Monday April 6, and will resume their normal operations as from Tuesday April 7, 2026 from 8am to 4pm.
