Seychelles launches AI pilot projects to transform teaching and learning

In line with the Ministry of Education’s national obligations under the National Approach to Artificial Intelligence in Education, the ministry, in collaboration with the World Bank, has launched two pioneering pilot initiatives: AI Teacher Coach and AI Student Tutor. These projects aim to enhance teaching quality and improve student learning outcomes through the application of artificial intelligence.

The initiatives were introduced during a workshop held yesterday morning at the Seychelles Institute for Teacher Education (SITE), attended by primary school educators from Anse Aux Pins, Au Cap, Baie Ste Anne, Grand Anse Mahé, La Misère, and La Retraite primary schools.
