SPA expands fleet with advanced pilot boat ‘Payanke’

The Seychelles Ports Authority officially inaugurated its new commission pilot boat, Payanke, during a short ceremony held yesterday morning at Mahé Quay.

The traditional bottle‑breaking christening was performed by Veronique Laporte, Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, alongside one of the Seychelles Ports Authority’s (SPA) longest‑serving female employees, Louna Dine. The vessel was blessed by Father Eric Leon.
