New youth policy committee to shape Seychelles’ future

The Department of Youth and Sports under the Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially launched the National Youth Policy Committee 2026–2030, marking a significant milestone in Seychelles’ commitment to youth development and participation.

Purpose of the committee

The committee will provide strategic oversight and guidance in shaping a comprehensive and inclusive National Youth Policy for the next five years. Its mandate ensures transparency and active participation by engaging young people and stakeholders across Seychelles, including representatives from outer islands and underrepresented groups.
