Few national transformational stories in the 21st century match the depth, breadth and pace of India’s rise over the past decade. When PM Modi's government came to power in May 2014, India was the world's 10th-largest economy by nominal GDP. By 2025, India had tripled its GDP and was the world's 4th-largest economy. This is not a single-sector story. Across health, education, technology, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, defence, and culture, India rewrites its own narrative. That the world’s largest democracy, its most populous country, its fastest-growing major economy, and a young nation with 50% of population below 25 years, is also a 5000-year-old civilisation, are facts inseparable from this journey.
