Marine officers equipped for stronger enforcement
Marine enforcement officers from across Seychelles began a five‑day intensive training programme yesterday, aimed at strengthening the management and governance of the nation’s protected areas and improving teamwork across agencies.
Organised by the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA), the programme is being held at the Savoy Seychelles Resort and Spa, Beau Vallon, with participants from the Seychelles Marine Police, Seychelles Islands Foundation, Island Conservation Society, Marine Conservation Society of Seychelles, Nature Seychelles, Department of Environment, Department of Blue Economy, Seychelles Fisheries Authority, and SPGA.
