“On the occasion of International Museum Day 2026, I extend my warm greetings to all museum professionals, cultural practitioners, partners, and members of the public across Seychelles.

“This year's theme, ‘Museums Uniting a Divided World’, speaks powerfully to the role museums continue to play as spaces of dialogue, understanding, learning, and unity. In an increasingly complex and fast-changing world, museums stand as bridges between peoples, generations, and cultures; preserving our collective memory while helping to shape a more connected and compassionate future.
