Students learn about Aride’s unique species
Students from three schools on Praslin took part in a half-day activity at the Vallée de Mai Reserve to mark International Biodiversity Day on May 22.
Accompanied by their teachers, pupils from Baie Ste Anne primary, Praslin secondary, and Vijay International School Praslin learned about the unique species found on Aride Island.
Vallée de Mai site manager Marc Jean-Baptiste explained that the initiative was organised by the Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF) in collaboration with the Island Conservation Society (ICS).
