Seychellois fighters show grit despite quarterfinal exits
Seychelles’ boxers may have fallen short of the medals at the Eindhoven Box Cup 2026, but not before testing themselves against some of the best amateur talents on the international stage.
One of the team’s brightest moments came in the 80kg division where Jade Micock battled his way into the quarterfinals with an impressive 4-1 victory over Germany’s Kaidy Kadu in the round of eight.
The Seychellois fighter’s run was eventually halted on Saturday after a 0-5 loss to England’s Bobby Wallace, but not before delivering a spirited performance at one of Europe’s toughest boxing tournaments.
