Arid recommendations on the SBC Bill   |13 June 2026

The Association for Rights, Information and Democracy (Arid) would like to make the following recommendations regarding the proposed SBC Bill:

1. Integrity and independence criteria – Include clear standards for the selection of members of the proposed Select Committee, preferably professionals, to avoid political interference.
