Fathers urged to embrace their vocation

On International Father’s Day, celebrated on the third Sunday of June, the Father’s Association of Seychelles hosted a special 90-minute mass at the Saint Joseph Chapel, Praslin. The service was presided over by Father Christian Toulon and attended by many fathers.
The choice of venue was symbolic, as Saint Joseph is revered as the patron saint of fathers and families, remembered for providing, protecting, and guiding the Holy Family with unwavering love. He is seen as the ultimate model of quiet strength, responsibility, and devoted fatherhood.
