Coco de Mer Replanting Initiative Continues on La Digue

As part of its ongoing commitment to community-based conservation, SIF continued its coco de mer planting initiative on La Digue, revisiting sites where seeds planted during the programme's launch in 2020 had not successfully germinated. The initiative encourages the cultivation of the iconic coco de mer palm in homes, businesses and other suitable locations across Seychelles, helping to promote conservation beyond its natural habitat.
