Golden Jubilee gifts reach Port Glaud, Independent School

Students of Port Glaud primary school and the Independent School (primary and secondary) received commemorative gifts this week in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Seychelles’ Independence.

On behalf of President Patrick Herminie, the Minister for Transport, Ports & Civil Aviation, Veronique Laporte, presented the gifts during ceremonies held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, Cabinet ministers are visiting schools across Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue to distribute commemorative tokens to students nationwide.
