Community partners unite to protect Vallée de Mai on World Nature Conservation Day

A community conservation effort took place at Vallée de Mai yesterday as the Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF) and partner organisations on Praslin marked World Nature Conservation Day with an invasive plant eradication activity.

The initiative focused on removing invasive plant species along the boundary of Vallée de Mai, where participants worked together to safeguard the site’s exceptional biodiversity.

The Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency, the Seychelles National Youth Council, and the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority joined SIF in the community conservation activity.
