Seychelles strengthens commitment to ozone protection

Seychelles participated in the 48th Open-ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (OEWG48), the Sixth Extraordinary Meeting of the Parties (ExMOP6), and the 76th Implementation Committee Meeting (ImpCom76), held in Bangkok, Thailand from July 13–18, 2026.

The Seychelles delegation comprised the principal secretary for Energy & Climate Affairs, Tony Imaduwa, national ozone officer Inese Chang Waye, and chief project coordinator Cindy Clair from the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy & Natural Resources.
