Minister Pierre addresses physical education and vaping in schools

The Minister for Education & Human Resource Development, David Pierre, appeared before the National Assembly yesterday to answer questions from members.

Physical education in schools

The first question came from the elected member for Bel Ombre, Hon. Denise Clarisse, who raised concerns that physical education in public schools was not being respected. She noted instances where students failed to change into appropriate clothing and, during classes, some sat out instead of participating in activities prepared by teachers.
