Bolshoi exhibition opens in Seychelles amid historic milestones

Seychelles has stepped into the spotlight of global cultural exchange with the unveiling of the first‑ever Bolshoi Theatre exhibition in the Indian Ocean region. Presented under the theme ‘The Bolshoi Theatre: Through Time’, the exhibition not only celebrates the Bolshoi’s 250th anniversary but also coincides with Seychelles’ 50 years of independence and 50 years of diplomatic relations with Russia – three milestones woven together in a single historic event.

The principal secretary for Culture Cecile Kalebi expressed gratitude to Valery Gergiev, General Director of the Bolshoi Theatre, whose vision and support made the exhibition possible.
