Busan session advances Seychelles heritage goals
Seychelles joined representatives from around the world in Busan from July 19 to 29 for the 48th Session of the Unesco World Heritage Committee, with a delegation led by Minister for Tourism & Culture, Amanda Bernstein.
Ten days of plenary debate, side events, and quiet diplomatic exchanges produced some of the Committee’s most consequential decisions in recent history, giving Seychelles a front‑row seat at a defining moment for the World Heritage system – as the country prepares its own bid to inscribe the Mission Ruins of Venn’s Town on the World Heritage List.
