Young Seychellois dancers set to showcase culture at international forum in Moscow

A group of young dancers will represent Seychelles in a cultural exchange programme in Moscow, Russia, departing on August 18, 2026.
During a short send‑off ceremony held on Friday afternoon at the National Arts and Crafts Council (NACC), chief executive Jimmy Savy and the Russian ambassador to Seychelles, Kirill Sokolov‑Shcherbachev, presented travel tickets to the six participants and their head delegate, Joenise Juliette.
The dancers travelling to Moscow are: Shewl Baron, Tashira Fabien, Raphael Agathine, Ishcah Betsy, Julinio Balthilde, and Aliyah Simara.
