SNYA special sitting commemorates Youth Festival

The 21st Cohort of the Seychelles National Youth Assembly (SNYA) met on Friday, August 14, for a special sitting to deliberate on a motion commemorating this year’s Youth Festival, held under the local theme ‘Empowering the Youth, Strengthen the Future’.

Before deliberations began, Speaker Cael Camille invited members to stand for a one‑minute silence in honour of a student from the National Institute of Health and Social Studies who had passed away earlier in the week. The gesture symbolised solidarity with the youth community and sympathy for the bereaved family.
