Shaeed Quatre, the proud winner of a brand new BYD Dolphin Surf

Five‑year‑old Shaeed Quatre has emerged as the grand winner of the star prize in the 50th Independence Day raffle, taking home a brand‑new BYD Dolphin Surf.

The young winner was presented with the keys to the vehicle, yesterday, in the presence of Principal Minister and chairperson of the National Day Celebrations Committee, Wallace Cosgrow, during a prize presentation ceremony.

Shaeed expressed his joy at winning the car, while his mother, Betty Fideria, explained that the winning raffle ticket had originally been purchased by Shaeed’s grandmother, who later gifted it to him.

“We are very thankful for this generosity. The raffle ticket was bought by his grandmother, who decided to give it to Shaeed,” Ms Fideria said.
